Your Support Is Needed!

*Financially.  All donations to WRI are tax deductible. Due to the cost of housing, medical care and supplies, your support is important to the success of our program. Funds not only contribute to the preservation of local wildlife, but provide trained knowledgeable volunteers who educate the public on many wildlife issues.

*As a Volunteer.  You don't have to rehabilitate wild animals to become involved!  Our organization would not be successful without the help of our volunteers.   People like you answer our phones, help with educational programs, build cages, transport injured animals, produce our newsletter & website, raise funds, and much more.  What is your area of interest?

*By donating items on our wish list

*As a rehabilitator.  We offer classes that provide you with the skills needed to rehabilitate wildlife.  This class helps you obtain your NC wildlife rehabilitation permit which is a requirement if you want to care for injured animals.  If you are interested in learning more about these classes email us at wildlifeed2@aol.com.

Thank You Chris Dyer for the donation of the squirrel cage that you built for your Eagle Scout project this spring.
